Urgent Request to Create an Opening in 250 mm Thick Concrete Wall
Our client was renovating his flat with London-based builders, and part of the project involved creating an opening in a concrete wall as soon as possible.
Executing the Structural Plan with Efficiency and Precision
We arrived at his flat the very next day. Following the structural engineer’s plans, we used our Hilti DD250 diamond drill to create 225 mm diameter holes for the beams to sit flush.
Once the ceiling was supported by the beams that his builders installed, we began track sawing through the thick 250 mm concrete wall. We cut 1.3 metres wide and 2.4 metres tall so a door could be installed, connecting two rooms in the flat.
Swift Results
Working with the builders, we completed all the drilling and sawing within two days of initially arriving. Due to the speed of arrival and efficiency on site, the owner of the flat was delighted with the finished result, as were the builders.
