We completed an emergency stitch drilling project in Derby for a groundworks contractor. Following an urgent call-out, we were on site the next day. The works involved 5.1 metres of stitch drilling through 550 mm deep reinforced concrete, all successfully completed within a single day.
BC Diamond Drilling & Sawing were called out earlier this week to a resident of North London. He required us to create an opening in his property's reinforced concrete floor, so he could install an underground safe.
Modus Construction Consultants urgently contacted BC Diamond Drilling & Sawing Ltd to create an opening. We needed to prepare the Hastings site efficiently because bricklayers were due to arrive the following week in order to start building 5 blocks of flats.
We cut 550mm deep straight edge using the track saw through reinforced concrete slabs. Then began to stitch drill holes of 180mm diameter as the opening was too small to use the track saw.
